How to get ETL certification?
The process of obtaining ETL certification usually involves the following steps：

The difference between ETL and UL
ETL certification and UL certification are both product safety certifications. They are similar in some aspects, but there are also some differences:
Cost and time: The cost of ETL certification is usually lower than that of UL certification, and the process of ETL certification may be faster. Under special circumstances, ETL can issue the certificate first and then conduct factory inspection, thereby saving time.

Review frequency: Factories that obtain ETL certification are required to undergo quarterly audits, while the frequency of audits for UL certification may vary.
Standard expiration handling: The ETL certificate will expire as the UL/CSA standards expire, and you cannot continue to apply for the old standards; the UL certificate can continue to be queried on the UL website after the standards expire, and relevant filing applications can be made for the old standards if appropriate.
