Canada’s official charges have another major update!
The new charging standards will be implemented on April 1, 2024!
Changes in new charging standards
On October 31, 2023, Canada notified ISED that wireless device registration fees are facing an increase. Starting from April next year, the ISED equipment registration fee will be increased by 4.4% on the current basis. The increase method is as follows:
⭕ New application registration: the fee increases from USD750 to 783 USD (US dollars)
⭕ Change application registration: fee increased from USD375 to 391.5 USD (US dollars)
Description of corresponding tax rates for Canadian local applicants
If you are a Canadian local applicant (certificate holder), additional taxes will be incurred, and the application fees vary by state and city. See the figure below for details:
