SAA Approvals is completely independent from any testing agencies and government associations. It has JAS-ANZ ISO 17065 qualifications, Queensland ESO/RECS qualifications, New South Wales Government REAS qualifications, and is an NCB member of Australia. Australian electrical product access requirements

All electrical products with a power of 230/400V entering the Australian market must comply with AS/NZS 3820. This standard is the basic standard referenced by all electrical safety codes in Australia and New Zealand. Although certificates will not be issued based on this standard, all certificates are issued based on this standard. All household products with a power of 230/400V now receive EESS Control. After the certificate is issued, the customer can put the RCM mark on the product, and the importer can register it in the EESS/ERAC database.。

REAS  – New South Wales system The system of New South Wales has not changed. SAA is required to issue REAS certificates that meet the conditions announced by the New South Wales Minister. REAS (New South Wales Government) requires products to be marked with the complete certificate number SAA-XXXXXX- EA; SAA requires products to be marked with RCM and SAA certificate numbers. SAA issues dual certificates to all products that meet the standards of both systems. SAA certificates are recognized anywhere in Australia and New Zealand。
